All reports are from regular food service/food store inspections unless otherwise noted.

Critical violations are defined as items that relate directly to factors that lead to food-borne illness, and must be corrected immediately.

Noncritical violations are defined as items that relate to maintenance of food operations and cleanliness.

Oct. 27

Daniel’s Catering Mobile

400 E. Necessary, Rogers

Critical violations: Sanitizer in three-compartment sink was at zero ppm. Must be 50 to 100 ppm. Sanitizer in spray bottle was over 200 ppm. Must be at 50 to 100 ppm. Eggs being stored at room temperature.

Rolando’s

224 S. 2nd, Rogers

Critical violations: Eggs being stored above vegetables in walk-in refrigerator. Raw beef stored above vegetables in walk-in refrigerator. Using cleaner/bleach to sanitize tables. Only use bleach solution or quaternary ammonia solution for sanitizing food contact surfaces.

Bishop’s Candy Store

113 S. 2nd. St., Rogers

Noncritical violation: Prepackaged foods must have label indicating where product was either manufactured or packaged.

Iron Horse Coffee Co.

2205 1st St., Rogers

Critical violations: All bottles must have labels indicating content.

Noncritical violations: Using cups as scoops in coffee containers. Must have handle with handle stored out of product. Bleach solution in spray bottle was at zero ppm. Must be between 50 and 100 ppm.

Number One Chinese Buffet

200 N. 8th, Rogers

Critical violations: Bowl being used as a scoop at prep table. Scoops must have handle with handle stored out of product. Knob for handwashing sink is missing. Chicken cooling on rack was 97 degrees. Should be cooled to 120 degrees within two hours, then to 41 degrees within four hours. Scoops being stored in flour bins with handle in product. Shrimp was 67 degrees on bottom line; must be kept at 41 degrees or below. Chicken nuggets are 129 degrees. Egg rolls are 130 degrees. Must be kept at 135 degrees or above.

Noncritical violations: Tile near handwashing sink needs repair to be smooth and easily cleanable.

Oct. 28

Decatur Care for Kids

425 S. Main, Decatur

Critical violations: Spray bottle for sanitation was at zero ppm for bleach. Must be 50 to 100 ppm. Using cup as a scoop in sugar container. Scoops must have handles stored out of product. Can of chili-ready tomatoes is dented. Can should be discarded.

Noncritical violations: Need to paint unfinished wood on bottom cabinet drawers. Pieces of wood/debris in bottom cabinets under sinks needs to be cleaned.

Decatur Head Start

363 S. Jo Ave., Decatur

Critical violations: Milk is 47 degrees. Must be kept at 41 degrees or below. Cup being used as a scoop in sugar container. Must have handle so that handle can be stored out of product.

Noncritical violations: Sliced strawberry container being used as a storage container for sugar. Must be a container approved for multiuse.

Decatur Northside Elementary

9083 Mount Olive, Decatur

Critical violations: Employee drinks in refrigerator are being stored above milk and juice without lids. Employee washed gloved hands. Must remove gloves then wash hands. Must wash hands in designated handwashing sink only. Bleach sanitizer in spray bottle was over 700 ppm. Must be between 50 and 100 ppm.

DARP Foundation

1199 Grant St., Decatur

Critical violations: Bleach sanitizer in spray bottle was at zero ppm. Must be at 50 to 100 ppm. No dogs allowed in kitchen. Dishwasher is not reaching 160 degrees to sanitize dishes. Must use three-compartment wink with sanitizer solution.

Noncritical violations: Must designate a sink for handwashing only. Need test strips for sanitizer solution.

Marvin’s Deli

300 S. Gentry, Gentry

Critical violations: Chicken strips at 107 degrees. Must be kept at 135 degrees or above.

Noncritical violations: Need thermometer in hot-holding display.

Oct. 30

Charato Kids After School

807 S.E. 14th, Bentonville

Noncritical violations: Need hand towels at handwash sink.
