Man, Woman Arrested After Meth Lab Found

— Investigators arrested a man and woman Monday after finding a one-pot meth lab in a vehicle.

The Benton County Sheriff ’s Office narcotics unit heard about a methamphetamine lab in a vehicle driving around the Rogers area, according to a news release.

County investigators and members of the Rogers Police Department’s narcotics unit found the vehicle and stopped it.

They found the lab and several items used to manufacture meth, according to the release.

Meth ingredients were in a 2-liter soda bottle and had been shaken to start the reaction needed to make meth, said Sgt. Travis Newell of the sheriff ’s office.

The bottle was tight enough to indicate it could13192 N. Old Wire Road in Rogers, in connection with felony manufacturing of a controlled substance, according to jail records. They were awaiting bond hearings Tuesday.
