ROGERS Access to Old 26th Street off Pleasant Grove Road west of Tuscany Square will be closed from Pleasant Grove Road north to Laurel Road starting Monday.
The work should take four weeks.
Traffic on 26th Street south of Perry Road will be one-lane southbound only from the new bridge to Laurel to allow for the widening of that section of road. The one-way section will be in effect starting Monday.
Construction should take eight weeks, according to a news release from the city.
Eagle Scouts Invited To Gathering
ROGERS - All adult Eagle Scouts are invited to attend a Gathering of Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at Aloft Hotel in Rogers.
The event is an opportunity to become acquainted with Scouting in Northwest Arkansas and to network with other Eagle Scouts, according to a news release.
Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in Boy Scouts of America.

Basketball Games

ROGERS - The Rogers High School Public Service Academy and the Mounties’ boys and girls basketball programs will sponsor a two-day charity event to benefit the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank.
The boys take the court Tuesday in their annual Blue/White games. Junior varsity teams will play each other at 5:30 p.m. followed by the varsity game at 7 p.m.
The girls take to the court at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday for a junior varsity/ninth grade scrimmage followed at 6 p.m. with the letter of intent signing of Morgan Hook to the University of Oklahoma. The varsity girls will scrimmage at 6:20.
Admission both nights is a couple of food items or a monetary donation to the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank.
