DURHAM — A Springdale man died Sunday after fl ipping his pickup on a rural Washington County road.

Johnny Upshaw, 38, of Springdale died after he lost control of his 1978 Chevrolet pickup on Durham Road in eastern Washington County about 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

The truck went off the road, hit a tree and rolled, partially ejecting Upshaw, according to a report from the Washington County Sheri◊’s O◊ce.

Upshaw was pronounced dead at the scene. Nobody else was in the truck, and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
