LITTLE ROCK — Nonprofit agencies that did not receive money from United Way of Northwest Arkansas last year and would like to be considered for funding in 2010 may complete a preproposal process.

The process allows United Way volunteers and staff to evaluate a new program to establish its potential to qualify for funding in one of three focus areas - education, income or health.

Partners funded by United Way will not have to complete a preproposal process.

Nonprofit organizations interested in completing the application process may go online at www.unitedwaynwa.org/partners.asp to download the preproposal form. Completed preproposals must be e-mailed to rfp_ report@unitedwaynwa.org by Nov. 20 to be considered for an invitation to complete a full request for funding proposal.
